O'STORY
OBIDA started with a simple belief: beauty and exceptional design shouldn't be reserved for the few. It should be part of everyday life, for everyone.
That belief shapes everything we make. Every print you see in an OBIDA piece is designed entirely in house, original patterns born from our own ideas, never sourced or bought in. Each one starts as a piece of art in its own right before it ever becomes fabric, so what you're wearing carries something of that creative process with it.
We keep production small and handmade on purpose. Every piece is made in small batches by hand, which means no two items are ever quite the same. The small variations you notice aren't flaws to us, they're proof that a real person made what you're holding.
We're not just making clothes. We're making small, wearable doses of joy, pieces designed to nourish the spirit and bring a bit of colour and character into your day.
Handcrafted beauty.

O'Prints
We honour and preserve the rich traditions and craftsmanship of West Africa. Print making is an age old African craft, and it's the ground everything we do is built on.
Every print you see is our own, designed entirely in house. We see it as continuing that craft while building something new from it, a contemporary West African design language that belongs to us. Each motif is then brought to life by local artisans, waxed and hand dyed onto locally made Funtua cotton.
Ethical practice and environmental stewardship guide every step of that process, from the artisans we partner with to the cotton itself.
